The Mission of Art from Ashes is to empower struggling youth
by providing creative programs that facilitate health and hope through expression,
connection and transformation.

This web page has been set up especially for us, so that those unable to attend the dinner this year, can support our community service project. Art from Ashes is a small Denver community service group helping local youth, aged 14 through 24, learn the power of positive creative self-expression as a means to heal and nurture. Their programs offer a means of empowerment for many marginalized young people.I think this is a great project for our caucus to support. Please follow the instructions below to make sure that your tax-deductible donation (none too small) is properly attributed to our organization.

Thank you so very much to AALL for supporting this important and innovative work among youth in desperate circumstances. Our innovative work, using the power of words to transform lives, has reached more than 3,000 young people in the past several years because of the generosity of people who believe giving young people a strong identity, based on their value as creative "geniuses" — an identiy that refutes the victimization they have suffered as a result of poverty, racism and abuse.
Because we believe so strongly in the reciprocity of giving, we are happy to provide you with this opportunity to support our efforts. More than 75% of funding for all nonprofits comes from individuals such as yourselves who are willing to help their communities by sharing their treasure with those less fortunate.
