TRANSFORMATIONAL POETRY WORKSHOPS
Adult Workshops at Art from Ashes
Adult workshops allow participants to express themselves through poetry, using seldom-used
right-brain creative ability and the power of words to heal. The words we choose to define ourselves and our reality can dictate how we think, what we do—even our experiences and circumstances. By learning to harness the creativity of the right-brain and express yourself honestly and beautifully, you will be empowered to change your life and achieve your highest goals. Each six-week session is 1 hour and 15 minutes a week and is limited to six people.
Poetry writing workshops are designed to enhance the connection between the cognitive self and the creative right brain and do not focus on writing skills development. All levels of writers (including those who think they are not) are welcome and will benefit. Adult workshops help support our work with youth.

SYNESTHESIA: The power of perception
Poetry prompts will focus on each of the five senses as examples that serve to illuminate the role of perception in our lives. By choosing to perceive yourself and what happens to you differently, you can harness your power to determine the course of your future.

INTRODUCTORY
The Phoenix Rising transformational workshops use the latest research in left-brain/right-brain functioning and the role of creativity in transformation to encourage participants to access the creative subconscious in order to facilitate inner clarity and outer change. The process is designed to allow participants to recognize our inherent creative power and the importance of perception in how we live.

COST
Workshop sessions are $175 for the six-week program, all materials are provided. If less than four people have signed up within five days of start date, the class will be postponed. Please understand that because our workshops are limited to six people, when they become full, we often have to turn other interested participants away. This is why we are unable offer a refund for any missed classes.
