Celeste Seiler, Agency Administrator

Full Time :: Length of Service: September 2017

Celeste Seiler began at Art from Ashes as a volunteer, before beginning an internship in January 2018, and is now Agency Administrator and Program Manager.

Celeste graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in July 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree for Individualized Studies: Social Outreach Services, and a minor in Studio Art. In addition to art and journalism, Celeste is a published poet and journalist. Her diverse array of expertise includes architecture, education, mental health counseling, and management.

Celeste’s passion to serve youth on a more personal level was realized during the four years she left school to become a mother. During this time, she focused on her emotional past and began to understand the story that brought her to the present. Celeste’s goal is to take her soul-searching experience and share it with struggling youth through the Art from Ashes creative youth empowerment curriculum, so they too can embrace their true selves and grow into a future of their own determination.

When Celeste is not at Art from Ashes, you can find her in the kitchen, cooking and baking for anyone wanting to share a meal with her and her family. She also enjoys traveling and gardening. Her compassion extends beyond human beings and enters the realm of animal welfare. Above all, she desires to live in a world where acceptance, empathy, and love rule.
